New info about Obama gains historic party nod

Who knows obama? The phenomenon of 2008 USA president candidates’. Barack Obama made history on the final day of the marathon Democratic nomination fight, becoming the first person of black to lead a major party's national ticket. He beat back Hillary Clinton, once viewed as the inevitable choice. Obama's call for change won over 1000.000 of young people, new voters, highly educated whites, and disaffected liberals tired of Clinton and her husband -- and demonstrated to blacks that he could win.
An advocate for withdrawing U.S. combat troops in Iraq,

is already tying Republican John McCain to a weakened President Bush and the unpopular war. But his struggles to win over working-class white voters will be a challenge as he battles McCain in swing states such as Ohio. Another task: unifying the Democratic base and bringing back women and Hispanics, both fervent Clinton supporters.
For someone who burst onto the national scene in 2004,

Obama's campaign

operations and unprecedented fundraising have been a marvel. The Illinois senator organized in smaller states to rack up delegate votes, drew more than 1.5 million donors, and raised more than $100 million in chunks of $200 or less. Those resources could be handy as Democrats try to expand their majorities in Congress with Obama as their standard-bearer.

African American politician

Every African American politician associated with the DLC should be considered suspect, and closely watched. There is no reason for them to be there except to make deals with the party's right wing - which believes that Gore lost the 2000 election largely because he became too closely identified with Blacks and labor.”

Rather than tiptoe around the edges of the issue, we are presenting State Sen. Obama with three “bright line” policy questions that will determine definitively if he has any good reason to belong to the DLC. But first, his letter in its entirety:

HILLARY & BARACK obama DREAM!

DOBBS: Pro-amnesty and open borders activists tonight are plotting their next step after, suffering a setback on Capitol Hill, another one.

Yesterday, senators killed the so-called DREAM Act, which would have effectively granted citizenship to more than a million illegal aliens in this country and of course give them an opportunity to gain amnesty and access to citizenship for their families as well. It would have also taken care of family members, extended family members.

And that defeat, despite it, two leading Democratic presidential contenders, well, they still are pushing hard for passage.

Senator Hillary Clinton releasing this statement. Are you ready? This is a woman who wants to be president of this country -- quote
